The Natural Jute Is Coiled By Hand Using A Nail Board To Guide The Sole Shape, Then Secured, Again By Hand, With A Horizontal Side Stitch. The Outer Base Of The Jute Is Protected By A Rubber Tread, And We’Ve Finished The Inside With A Leather Heel Piece. This Season We’Ve Added A Little Extra Detail To The Soft Calf Suede Upper With An Embossed Herringbone Weave Pattern. The Simple A-Line Upper Pattern Has A Folded The Topline And Back Pull Tab And Is Fully Lined In Calf Leather. Finally, The Upper Is Box-Stitched To The Sole – And No Surprises Here – By Hand.
